Initial skill goals:

  • Learn the ins, outs and best practices for generating outside plant designs for new network projects 

  • Understand methods for improving existing designs

  • Become knowledgeable on products in the opto-electric, laser and fiber optic fields.

  • Generate field maps for use during staking and inspection.

The Software Developer's duties will include managing system performance, reviewing and updating existing programs, identifying and fixing defects, supporting data architecture, generating reports, developing in-house software, and mitigating potential risk.


Your expertise in the craft of programming will assist our organization in increasing efficiency and service through construction, maintenance, and streamlining of our computing systems and programs.

We are looking for a creative, self-driven Content Creator to help our new and current business clients realize and maximize the value of Fibersmith/Vision products and services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

A large portion of time will be spent generating the creation, distribution and tracking of new processes and guide our customers so they see the highest value from our products. This includes work associated in planning and executing custom content to support Fibersmith’s growing software clients. Items will be published on Fibersmith/Vision’s digital channels (YouTube, wikihow, social media, website, mobile app, email marketing, and other digital platforms), including the re-editing of the content library, as needed.

This role will be tasked with becoming a Vision subject-matter expert and utilizing this skillset to support our clients with ongoing product support, conducting user conference events hosted by Fibersmith.

The Content Creator will ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and member experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video, print and in-person.

The Content Creator plays a role in the development and support of the company’s general branding and marketing initiatives. As part of the Fibersmith/Vision Client Success team, this position will collaborate closely with colleagues to determine content planning and department growth.
